Emory Healthcare/Emory University Visiting Instructor of Spanish or Portuguese in Atlanta, Georgia

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Emory University is seeking applicants for Visiting Instructor positions in Spanish language instruction for the academic year 2024-2025 with the possibility of renewal. We are looking for dynamic, inspiring, and engaging instructors with a solid pedagogical foundation for language teaching and a commitment to curricular innovation primarily at the elementary and intermediate levels. The ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, create engaging learning environments, and be dedicated to fostering students' language proficiency and cultural awareness.

Visiting Instructors will teach three courses per semester in the elementary and/or intermediate curriculum under the supervision of the Director of the Spanish Program. Responsibilities include attending regular teaching meetings, holding office hours, and handling routine instructional matters.
