The Department of Anthropology (https://anthropology.emory.edu/) at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, starting in Fall 2025. We seek a scholar engaged in cutting-edge research at the intersection of Human Biology, Health, and Evolution. Our ideal candidate will bring diverse perspectives and innovative methodologies to examine behavior, biology, and health through an anthropological lens. We welcome candidates that integrate computational techniques into their research, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, and big data analytics, all aimed at addressing complex questions related to human evolution and health. Successful applicants will have a Ph.D., post-doctoral research experience, a record of research productivity, and a commitment to undergraduate (https://anthropology.emory.edu/undergraduate/majors-minors/anthro-bs.html) and graduate (https://anthropology.emory.edu/graduate/index.html) teaching and mentoring.
