Emory Healthcare/Emory University Assistant Professor, Rhetoric, Composition and Writing Studies, Tenure-Track in Oxford, Georgia

Emory University's Oxford College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of English in Rhetoric, Composition, and Writing Studies starting August 2025. We seek a teacher-scholar invested in the liberal arts to teach writing and rhetoric courses to first- and second-year undergraduates. The successful applicant will teach three courses per semester, including first-year writing, first-semester Discovery S eminar , and other rhetoric and writing courses, and will mentor undergraduates through advising, undergraduate research, and other work. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will have a record of ongoing scholarly research, preferably with the potential to involve or mentor students in undergraduate research, and a commitment to serving the Writing and Communication P rogram , General Education Program (https://oxford.emory.edu/catalog/academics/gep-requirements.html) , and beyond.
