Emory University Coordinator, Assessment Resources in Oxford, Georgia



This position is a 10 month assignment only.

  • Supports and coordinates all facets of the OAS auxiliary services process for students and faculty within the Emory Community.

  • Coordinates with external constituents and campus departments on accommodation and accessibility issues.

  • Works with internal and external vendors to obtain and assign aids to students, such as readers, writers, note takers, etc.

  • Communicates by telephone and email to registered OAS students to convey basic registration, deadline and intervention services.

  • Completes tracking and documentation of computerized inquiries to connect students and faculty with appropriate campus resources with the highest level of accuracy, detail and closure of assistance.

  • Advises students and faculty regarding accommodation for exams.

  • Coordinates all aspects of administration of all exams with accommodations, including scheduling of student workers, proctors, readers and scribes.

  • Reserves and maintains testing space.

  • Secures and disseminates exam materials, interacting with faculty on an ongoing basis.

  • Maintains testing database, including computerized confirmation, approval and scheduling of exams administered in the OAS Testing Center.

  • Serves as ATI proctor for School of Nursing as needed.

  • Coordinates, organizes and supervises completed exam delivery process.

  • Monitors online visitor tracking system, directing faculty staff and students as appropriate.

  • Generates reports as needed.

  • Assists with organizing, streamlining and development of office processes, space and accommodation administration.

  • Maintains highest levels of protection of registered constituents' right to privacy regarding medical records and confidentiality.

  • Maintains proficiency as needed an approved by attending trainings and reading job-related materials.

  • Participates in professional organizations and professional development activities.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.


  • A bachelor's degree and one year of administrative or program experience, preferably related to access, disability and/or equity/inclusion programs OR a high school diploma and five years or related administrative or program experience.

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to serving people with disabilities in post-secondary education preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency with personal computers and office software.

  • Experience in Adobe Professional, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

  • Ability to deal effectively with and represent the University to a wide range of individuals and groups within and outside of the Emory community.
