Description

Located 36 miles east of Atlanta, Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for a temporary, full-time economics faculty beginning August 2022.The position is a one-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal for an additional two years.The successful candidate will teach 3/3 a load, with two course preparations per semester. Courses taught may include both Principles and Intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomic courses, pending department needs.Applicants must possess a PhD in economics or be ABD with experience and a record of teaching.

Qualifications

Visiting Assistant Professor candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics completed by the time of appointment; Visiting Lecturer candidates will be considered if they are ABD in Economics at the time of appointment. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to and record of teaching excellence. An ability to work effectively in a liberal arts program with a diverse student body and faculty is desired.
