Description

Serves in a dual role as the Head Soccer Coach of Oxford College of Emory University and as an instructor, with each role representing one-half of overall responsibilities. As Head Soccer Coach, coordinates and conducts all aspects of the soccer program including (but not limited to) practices, games, recruiting, fundraising, discipline, and monitoring of academic progress of student athletes at the Oxford College of Emory University. Responsible for classroom instruction by serving as an academic lecturer in the Department of Physical Education. Organizes and directs successful youth camps and clinics. Complies with all policies and regulations governing the National Junior College Athletic Association, Georgia Junior College Athletic Association, Oxford College of Emory University, and the Physical Education & Athletic Departments. Maintains athletic facility, grounds, and equipment inventory used by the soccer program. Performs other related duties as required.

This position is located 36 miles east of Atlanta on Emory's original campus in Oxford, Georgia, Oxford College.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree and one year of coaching experience. Soccer coaching experience, preferably at the college level. Prior teaching experience.
