Located 36 miles east of Atlanta on Emory’s original campus in Oxford, Georgia, Oxford College invites applications for an Applications Developer/Analyst, Sr.
One of Emory University's four schools partnering in undergraduate education, Oxford College provides 950 first- and second-year students of high academic profile an intensive liberal-arts program for the first two years of their Emory bachelors degree. We're interested in candidates with a commitment to working with a remarkably diverse student body in an inclusive learning community. Consults with appropriate staff to develop requirements and specifications for applications.
Implements developed applications and provides customer support of applications.
Develop, implement, maintain Oxford College departmental applications
Implement new web technologies as appropriate
Build and maintain databases to support college data needs
Create scripts to migrate database changes
Managing test, development and production of all web servers including hardware and software.
Programming experience with server side web development for enterprise-wide deployment
Experience with Relational Database System, writing SQL queries, writing SQL scripts
Six years of information technology experience OR a bachelor's degree and four years of information technology experience.
Positions in this classification may require a knowledge of one or more programming languages and/or a knowledge of an application and application tools.
Experience with MySQL
Experience with PHP or ColdFusion
Knowledge of web application security standards and best practices
Version Control such as Git
Experience with Mobile applications development and responsive design
Programming experience with Node.js
Familiarity with Sharepoint development (PowerApps or PowerAutomate)
