Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead a team of digital project managers. As a servant leader, you will focus on helping your team grow skills, agency, and ownership, fostering an environment of empowerment and continuous improvement. In this critical role, you will leverage your leadership experience and curiosity to provide thoughtful and consistent support of individual and team development. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, and help spearhead the successful design, implementation, and performance of key strategic initiatives within the department.

Work Location: Remote - There might be occasional travel on-site with advance notice

Salary: $96,657.60 - $180,145.06

The grade and salary of the position are based on specific criteria met within the qualifications of relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity.

Description

Candidates with Agile and/or regenerative development experience are highly preferred.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, IT departments, vendors, and executive leadership.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on talent management, team dynamics, and organizational development.

  • Act as a champion for the digital programs team, advocating for resources, recognition, and support to enable their success.

  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycles.

Strategic Program Leadership:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the strategic vision for the Emory Digital PMO in alignment with the overall organizational goals.

  • Lead the development and execution of key program initiatives, including new technology implementations, and business process optimization efforts.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of key programs, from planning and budgeting to implementation and evaluation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred, plus 4 years experience in health care information technology including project management, personnel management, and application production support. Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, preferably in a healthcare or technology-related environment.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Passion for healthcare innovation and digital transformation, with a commitment to driving positive change and improving patient outcomes.
